The Jr Lock Desk Specialist position supports the Lock Desk Department/Secondary Marketing Manager.
The Jr Lock Desk Specialist will be responsible for completing the following job duties:
- Intake/distribution of emails received in centralized lock desk mailbox
- Monitor Lock Expiration and Adverse Action pipelines
- Send daily expiration notifications to Sales/OPS staff
- Validate points/credits are listed accurately on Itemization from Initial Lock Request
- Assist team with lock updates, extensions and cancellation requests
- Additional duties assigned as required

The following qualification are required of the Jr Lock Desk Specialist:
Education:
- A college degree with one-year related experience and/or training. A combination of equivalent education and experience is acceptable
Experience:
- Previous experience in the mortgage industry with understanding of lock desk functions
- Experience with Ellie Mae’s Encompass and/or Optimal Blue is preferred
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a Lock Desk role
Skills:
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as: Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain focus
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact effectively with external and internal clients across departments and locations
- Ability to multi-task
- Organized and Detail oriented
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

The starting base salary range for this position is $19.00 to $23.00, hourly. This is the range of the base pay only, it does not include other components that make up the total compensation package of the position. If offered a position, your total compensation package will be determined by experience, location, skills and/or education which may result in a total compensation package that falls outside the provided range.
Monday through Friday 9am-5pm
