The Residential Mortgage Operational Leader provides guidance in all facets of mortgage originations, including loan origination, processing, underwriting and closing fostering an environment of collaboration and high performance.
The Residential Mortgage Operational Leader is responsible for completing the following job duties. - Driving corporate objectives in support of Senior Leadership on both new initiatives and day-to-day business operations.
- Sales and Operational support to include business transformation efforts, efficiencies, and systemic enhancements.
- Define and Develop workflows, implanting strategic process improvements to drive efficiency and service excellence.
- Collaborate with leadership, including Director of Compliance, to ensure the following of all industry regulations, internal policies and investor guidelines to maintain consistency across all departments.
- Participate in ongoing business planning and capacity management focused on profitability and customer experience.
- Monitor and manage key performance indicators, in tandem with line leaders, addressing challenges proactively to achieve organizational goals.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

The following qualifications are required of the Residential Mortgage Operational Leader
Education
A college degree and 10 years in mortgage related experience or training.
Skills
- In-depth knowledge of the mortgage industry, including end to end loan originations and regulatory compliance.
- Previous experience partnering with all internal departments to include Compliance, Finance/ Accounting, Secondary Marketing, Marketing, Sales and external regulators, auditors and investors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- The ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, business partners and clients driving desired outcomes.
- Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience in managing and developing teams.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities from inception to execution.
- Process improvement analysis and execution.
- Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on operational efficiency and quality.
- Supports and promotes the Premium Experience in all interactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Hands on experience with Encompass or other Mortgage Loan Originations systems is required.

Working Conditions
The Residential Mortgage Operational Leader is primarily in an office setting and may be exposed to outdoor conditions.
The working conditions are classified as sedentary work:
