Premium Oilfield Technologies - Drilling Equipment and Support is seeking skilled Field Service Technicians to join the team. These roles require hands-on troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of equipment in the field. The ideal candidates will have experience in oilfield services, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently in remote locations.

- East Texas (ETX) / Louisiana (LA) / South Texas (STX) / Oklahoma (OK) – 2 openings (Houston-based preferred)
- Schedule: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
- Ensure workplace safety by completing tailored JSAs, maintaining an orderly shop environment, and conducting daily equipment inspections. Perform meaningful safety observations to identify and address potential hazards.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all tasks, ensuring accountability and operational excellence. Conduct pre- and post-job inspections, document findings, and address non-conformities promptly.
- Use non-billable hours productively by completing vehicle maintenance, safety training, and cross-training tasks to support operational efficiency.
- Complete accurate job-related paperwork before leaving the rig or shop and submit daily updates. Maintain an inventory of company tools, ensuring accountability for losses or damages. Take ownership of performance outcomes, striving for excellence in all tasks.
- Conduct both pre-job and post-job walkthroughs for shop assignments.
- Ability to read hydraulic and electric schematics for Top Drive systems.
- Use basic hand tools as well as oscilloscope and multi-meter.
- Be familiar with Allen-Bradley PLCs, RS Logix 5000 Software, Siemens asset Step 7, PanelView HMIs, and Factory Talk Software.
- Be familiar with Communications Systems (Ethernet, Modbus, etc.).
- Previous field service experience in the oil & gas industry preferred
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must be able to work a rotational schedule (2 weeks on / 2 weeks off)
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to handle/feel objects; and reach with hands and arms.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may also have to do some lifting to 45 pounds.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be inclined to inclement weather including, but not limited to, extreme heat and/or cool temperatures.
