Shop Technician

Premium Oilfield Technologies is seeking a Shop Technician to join our team in Williston, ND. Job Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and identify root causes to provide effective solutions.
• Conduct inspections to assess the condition of equipment and identify potential problems.
• Install, assemble, and test new equipment and machinery according to specifications.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, including parts used and repairs made.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate work and share information.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Participate in Premium Safety and Quality programs.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing results as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Management.
• Check in equipment returning from the field or other regions.
• Inspect and rebuild equipment as needed.
• Perform PSI and function testing on equipment.
• Assemble packages and complete work orders.
• Assist with field operations when technicians are unavailable.
• Paint and pressure wash equipment.
• Maintain and update shop inventory on a weekly basis.
• Coordinate logistics for equipment transport to and from other regions and rigs.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.
• Proven experience as a shop technician or similar role.
• Strong technical skills and proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment or parts.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices.
• Proficiency with computers and software for record-keeping and inventory management.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by a 24/7 operation.
• Physical capability to oversee warehouse operations, including walking, lifting, and operating equipment.
