Pay Rate: Min $14.00  to Max $16.50

Summary Responsible to operate and maintain oil mill production process Assists Mill Operator by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Loads and unload oil stock in the mill.
  • Performs QA testing and adjusts mill based on test results.
  • Documents the results of the test accurately and correctly.
  • Performs sanitation in work area and maintains a clean area.
  • Follows all Good Manufacturing Practices, SOPs and assists with any other duties as assigned by Oil Mill Operator.
  • Shovels spillage back onto process.
  • Breaks lumps of incoming raw material to facilitate entry into crusher.
  • Furnishes Mill Operator with materials, tools, and supplies.
  • Performs other routine duties.

Education and/or Experience                                                    

Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills                                                 

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills                                          

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability                                             

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
