Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in HVAC/R systems. This role involves maintaining and servicing dairy cooling equipment and refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability in various settings, including commercial properties.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on refrigeration systems, including ammonia refrigeration units.
- Installation of milk cooling equipment.
- Maintenance on refrigeration components for milk tanks and cooling systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in HVAC/R systems to ensure efficient operation.
- Emergency and scheduled service for commercial refrigeration
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment to extend the lifespan of systems.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed on equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all service activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician or in a similar field service role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC/R systems.
- Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is highly desirable.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively and efficiently.
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
