What are the responsibilities and job description for the Flex Worker Prep Hoops Basketball Tournament 4/18-4/20 position at Prep Network?
Event Information
- This event will take place from Friday, April 18th to Saturday, April 19th in Appleton and the surrounding area.
- Approximate times will be Friday 6pm -10pm, Saturday 8am-10pm (DEPENDING ON LOCATION)
Paid $15 per hour via check, with compensation received at the end of the weekend
Meals are provided
Workers will receive a Prep Hoops staff t-shirt
First Responsibility:
- Checking wristbands and ensuring no spectator is getting in without paying
- If any spectator tries to enter without you seeing their wristband, you must call them out to show their wristband
- If any spectator tries to enter wearing the incorrect color wristband, you must call them out
- The only people that can enter without wearing a wristband are players, officials, event staff, and Prep Network staff
Secondary Responsibilities May Include:
- Assisting with team check-in
- Assisting with admissions and/or troubleshooting POS devices
- Checking for other entrances or doors being propped open where spectators could be getting in without paying
- If necessary, work clock/book for a game if a team doesn’t have a parent to work it
- Retrieving scoresheets after games are complete
- Assisting with event clean-up
- Any other tasks the event director may ask of you
Salary : $15
