About the RoleWe are seeking a Total Rewards Manager to join our Human Resources team. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, this role plays a key part in enhancing the employee experience through strategic compensation and benefits initiatives.
What You’ll DoCompensation- Conduct market analyses and benchmarking to support informed compensation decisions.
- Measure compensation program effectiveness and ensure internal equity.
- Design and manage grade structures, oversee job evaluations, and maintain compensation-related tools.
- Collaborate with leadership on compensation-related data requests (e.g., internal equity analysis, retention, market, and bonus recommendations).
- Develop and implement pay policies and incentive programs.
- Ensure compliance with FLSA and other compensation regulations.
- Oversee headcount budget planning, including salary and merit processes.
- Lead the salary budget planning process, working with leaders to review headcount, budgets, and salary cycles.
- Design, implement, and manage health and welfare programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans.
- Research and recommend benefits programs that balance cost optimization with employee satisfaction.
- Lead benefit plan design, selection, renewal, communication, and administration.
- Stay informed on benefits trends and regulations, ensuring compliance with ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, ACA, and other laws.
- Oversee annual open enrollment, including communication strategies and vendor management.
- Manage regulatory aspects of benefits, including 5500 processing, non-discrimination testing, and workers’ compensation.
- Ensure accuracy in benefits data, payroll deductions, and provider reconciliations.
- Drive employee education initiatives related to benefits and total rewards programs.
- Continuously assess and enhance the total rewards strategy, incorporating industry best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field—or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 7 years of experience managing compensation and benefits programs.
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategies that enhance the employee experience.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS).
