We hire bold thinkers with a heart for impact, a passion for progress, and a drive to deliver.About the Role We are seeking a Corporate Staff Attorney who is passionate about professional development and eager to take ownership of life-cycle contract management and compliance functions for multiple entities with nine-figure combined revenue. This role will be based at our corporate office in downtown Phoenix, reporting to the Executive Vice President and General Counsel , a leader dedicated to mentorship and employee growth.In this role, you’ll gain highly sought-after experience in a dynamic and in-demand industry, working alongside multiple departments, including Sales, R&D, HR, Finance, and Operations. You’ll also receive personalized, hands-on training from in-house technical experts.What You’ll Do Provide corporate, contractual, and compliance support to the EVP and General Counsel.Manage direct life-cycle contract processes, including : Reviewing RFPs, RFQs, and bids.Preparing and reviewing proposals and solicitations.Conducting cost and price analysis.Negotiating and preparing contracts.Overseeing contract execution, modifications, and close-outs.Administering subcontracts and reviewing alternative dispute resolution / litigation.Ensuring compliance with patents, intellectual property, and partnership agreements.Provide legal guidance on contractual requirements, procurement, and risk management initiatives.Support due diligence efforts for merger and acquisition candidates.Advise senior leadership on contractual, legislative, marketing, and procurement matters.Ensure compliance with domestic and international regulatory requirements.Leverage technology to enhance and automate compliance, reporting, and contract management processes.Participate in complex, high-visibility contractual and dispute resolution matters.Contribute to strategic planning, cost analysis, and operational compliance initiatives.Support ad-hoc legal projects and reporting as needed.RequirementsWhat You Bring Active Arizona Bar membership or ability to satisfy Arizona in-house counsel registration requirements.1-5 years of industry experience in public sector or commercial contracting.Strong knowledge of financial and accounting principles related to contracts.Experience working with local, state, federal, and international contracts , including prime contracts, subcontracts, joint ventures, and consortium agreements.Ability to identify, structure, and implement transformation initiatives to drive efficiency.Expertise in anticipating business challenges and regulatory issues .Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly.Analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.Experience with technology and / or Software as a Service (SaaS) is a plus.BenefitsHow We Will Take Care of You Robust benefit package that includes medical, dental, and vision that start on date of hire.Paid Time Off, to include vacation, sick, holidays, and floating holidays.401(k) plan with employer match.Company-funded “lifestyle account” upon date of hire for you to apply toward your physical and mental well-being (i.e., ski passes, retreats, gym memberships).Tuition Reimbursement Program.Voluntary benefits, to include but not limited to Legal and Pet Discounts.Employee Assistance Program (available at no cost to you).Company-sponsored and funded “Culture Team” that focuses on the Physical, Mental, and Professional well-being of employees.Community Give-Back initiatives.Culture that focuses on employee development initiatives.#J-18808-Ljbffr
