Position Description
The Disputes Agent will join our Disputes Management team and will handle toll exceptions and all incoming customer disputes. Reporting to the Toll Disputes Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for data entry, investigating, and processing of inbound disputes from customers. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in analyzing and processing of information and be motivated to do the best for our customers. This is a Phoenix-based hybrid position that requires a physical presence in our downtown office and will work a combination of the week remotely.

Position Description
The Disputes Agent will join our Disputes Management team and will handle toll exceptions and all incoming customer disputes. Reporting to the Toll Disputes Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for data entry, investigating, and processing of inbound disputes from customers. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in analyzing and processing of information and be motivated to do the best for our customers. This is a Phoenix-based hybrid position that requires a physical presence in our downtown office and will work a combination of the week remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the process of investigating tolling exceptions and identifying reasons for it and categorize for billing
- Manual or system-assisted data entry of disputes information and researching transactions based on established criteria
- Perform extensive research and analysis using agency websites and customer communication follow-ups
- Analyze transactions from various data sources to identify anomalies and establish potential patterns
- Involvement with performing various processes and procedures as related to disputes and agency reporting
- Actively communicate with customers and agency representatives to manage expectations and resolve conflicts
- Other tasks as assigned by the team leadership
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office skills, MS Access is required
- Good knowledge and skill using Excel is required
- High level understanding of basic computer programs and processes is desired
- Ability to type 50 WPM is required
- Must have good people skills and communicate tactfully in challenging situations
- Possess the ability to detect, document and correct quality issues
- Effective communication skills and the ability to relay information well, both written and verbally
