We are seeking an experienced Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management (MDM) Consultant to support the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle Utilities MDM solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle Utilities applications, including MDM, C2M, and Smart Grid Gateway (SGG), with expertise in integrating meter data for utilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement, configure, and support Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management (MDM) solutions.
- Work with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform MDM system integration with CIS, AMI, and other utility applications.
- Design and optimize meter data processing, validation, and estimation rules.
- Develop and implement customizations, extensions, and reports using SQL, PL/SQL, and Java.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to MDM.
- Support data migration, performance tuning, and system upgrades.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and QA testers.
- Provide end-user training and documentation for Oracle MDM functionalities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience with Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management (MDM).
- Strong expertise in Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF).
- Experience with Oracle C2M, SGG, and related Oracle Utilities applications is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Web Services, and Java development.
- Experience integrating MDM with AMI, SCADA, and CIS systems.
- Knowledge of metering standards, VEE (Validation, Editing & Estimation), and Smart Grid technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Oracle Utilities MDM certification is a plus.
- Experience working in utility industry projects (electric, gas, or water utilities).
- Knowledge of cloud-based Oracle Utilities solutions (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure).
