We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Lead with expertise in COPA (Controlling – Profitability Analysis) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, implementing, and supporting SAP FICO modules, with a strong focus on COPA to enhance financial reporting and profitability analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and configure SAP FICO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Controlling (CO), and Profitability Analysis (COPA).
- Design and optimize COPA reporting structures, ensuring accurate profitability analysis by segmenting revenue, costs, and margins.
- Work closely with finance, accounting, and business teams to gather requirements and translate them into SAP FICO solutions.
- Configure cost elements, cost centers, internal orders, and profit center accounting within the CO module.
- Develop and maintain COPA reporting tools, including cost-based and account-based COPA structures.
- Integrate SAP FICO with SD (Sales & Distribution), MM (Material Management), and other modules for seamless data flow.
- Provide support for month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accurate financial statements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP FICO and COPA-related issues, ensuring minimal business disruption.
- Conduct user training and documentation to enhance knowledge sharing within the organization.
- Support SAP S/4HANA migration projects and enhancements related to financial processes.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 5 years of experience as an SAP FICO Consultant, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in COPA (Profitability Analysis).
- Strong understanding of FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling) modules, including costing-based and account-based COPA.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA FICO and migration projects is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of business processes in finance, accounting, and controlling.
- Hands-on experience in SAP configuration, enhancements, and integration with other modules.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams.
- SAP certification in FICO or COPA is a plus.
