Workday Implementation Specialist

Description

We are seeking an experienced Workday Financials Specialist to lead and support the deployment of Workday Financials. The ideal candidate will have expertise in financial system implementations, data migration, and integration architecture. This role requires strong analytical skills, stakeholder collaboration, and a deep understanding of financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and document the list of financial SKUs subscribed with Workday.
• Develop and maintain the Workday Financials deployment project plan with clear timelines and deliverables.
• Assess the current implementation stage, including design/architecture, configuration, data conversion, integration build, and testing progress.
• Identify the number of legal entities in scope and validate financial reporting requirements for multi-country, multi-currency operations.
• Confirm and manage the Chart of Accounts (COA) structure within Workday.
• Evaluate and document customer transaction volumes and financial data migration scope.
• Design and present the integration architecture, including inbound/outbound interfaces with Workday Finance and other peripheral systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 5 years of experience in Workday Financials implementation, configuration, and integration.
• Strong understanding of financial processes, including multi-entity accounting, financial reporting, and data migration strategies.
• Expertise in Workday integration tools and experience with API-based integrations.
• Hands-on experience in designing and managing financial data conversions.
• Excellent project management skills, with experience handling Workday deployment plans.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
