Cloud Data Engineer 1-Year Contract Opportunity

Location : Pittsburgh, PA

Work Model : Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Prequel is seeking Pittsburgh-based Cloud Data Engineers for an exciting 1-year contract with a leading flagship financial services company . This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge integration and development projects , contributing to large-scale initiatives in a dynamic, hybrid work environment.

What Youll Do

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and solutions.
  • Leverage your expertise in Databricks , Spark , and Python to process and analyze complex datasets.
  • Integrate and automate workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF) .
  • Manage and optimize cloud database environments to support large-scale operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovative data solutions.

What Were Looking For

  • 5 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, including a mix of :

    • Databricks and Spark for distributed data processing.

  • Python for scripting and automation.
  • Azure Data Factory (ADF) for data integration and orchestration.
  • Experience with cloud databases (e.g., Azure SQL, Snowflake, or similar).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for leveraging technology to tackle complex challenges.
