What are the responsibilities and job description for the iOS Developer position at Prequel Solutions?
We are looking for an experienced iOS Developer with a strong background in SwiftUI, Swift, Objective-C, XCUI, UIKit, and iOS Software Development Kits (SDKs). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and testing enterprise-level iOS applications, with a focus on modern UI frameworks and building scalable, high-performance applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to write clean, efficient code, automate testing using XCUI, and manage app deployment to both public and private App Stores.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and maintain iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, Objective-C, and UIKit
Work with modern iOS APIs and frameworks to build robust, scalable applications
Automate testing with XCUI and manage app deployment to public and private App Stores
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine UX/UI and ensure high-quality deliverables
Integrate applications with other services using RESTful APIs
Utilize Swift Package Manager and/or CocoaPods for dependency management
Required Qualifications:
5 years of experience in iOS development with a focus on native iOS languages (Objective-C, Swift, SwiftUI)
Strong expertise in the full iOS Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Experience with the latest iOS APIs, frameworks, and JSON annotation
In-depth knowledge of Core Data and Auto Layout
Familiarity with notifications, blocks, and app lifecycle management
Experience with Azure DevOps and DevOps practices
Proficiency with AuthN/AuthZ protocols, including OAuth 2.0 and working with Azure AD or Okta as an Identity Provider (IDP)
Solid experience in iOS framework development and distribution
Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Xcode toolchain, and app releases to the Apple App Store
Knowledge of web technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Angular, ReactJS, React Native) is a plus
