Prequel is seeking candidates for a full time Manufacturing Engineering Manager role with a reputable manufacturer in the Cary, IL area. This role works onsite and includes a competitive salary, annual bonus and full suite of health / retirement benefits. Company is seeking experienced MFG Engineering Manager candidates who can help build out a department, optimize manufacturing processes and efficiencies into the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and develop the Manufacturing Engineering team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Oversee process sustainment and improvement initiatives to meet quality, productivity, and cost-reduction targets.
- Manage new product development (NPD) transitions, from prototyping to production, ensuring seamless handoffs to operations.
- Develop and track the annual CAPEX budget, providing business case justifications for capital projects.
- Drive the adoption of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement activities.
