You’ll be the technical bridge between our sales, customer success, and service delivery teams in your assigned region. You'll engage directly with clients throughout the sales process—making this a highly customer-facing role that requires professionalism, clear communication, and the ability to represent Magna5's technical excellence with confidence. This position may require occasional travel for client meetings, onsite discoveries, or strategic events within your region.
Responsibilities
Presales Solution Design
- Lead technical discovery and managed solution development across assigned regional opportunities.
- Own the technical validation of managed services quotes and proposals.
- Create professional services Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Collaborate with procurement teams to generate and validate technical Bills of Materials (BoMs).
- Participate in and lead technical presentations, demonstrations, and strategic discussions with customers.
- Partner with Sales Executives on new business, renewals, and expansion opportunities.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Service Delivery, Regional Leadership, and Product teams to ensure solution feasibility and alignment.
- Support RFP and proposal processes through technical validation and documentation.
- Maintain alignment with SE SLAs, ensuring timely responses and high-quality deliverables.
- Execute regional SE engagement workflows and internal delivery handoffs.
- Leverage Microsoft 365, HaloPSA, Salesforce, and ConnectWise CPQ for quoting and documentation.
Role
3 years in a Sales Engineering, Solutions Architect, or similar pre-sales technical role within an MSP or IT services environment. Well-rounded experience across technologies including:
- Windows on-premises systems
- Networking and cybersecurity
- Microsoft 365 / Entra ID
- Backup and disaster recovery
- Public and private cloud infrastructure
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical details into business value.
- Proven ability to manage multiple opportunities and work cross-functionally.
- High attention to detail, strong problem-solving ability, and a customer-focused mindset.
Professional-level certifications such as:
- VMware VCP (Data Center Virtualization or equivalent)
- Microsoft 365 (MS-102)
- Microsoft Azure (AZ-305)
- Cisco CCNP or equivalent
- CISSP
- Palo Alto PCNSE
- Fortinet NSE4
- Commvault Certified Professional
- Dell or HPE storage/server certifications (ASE, ATP, etc.)
- Familiarity with: HaloPSA, ConnectWise CPQ, Microsoft 365 suite, and Salesforce CRM
- Experience with structured RFP processes and solution qualification
