Stony Point Center is located in the scenic Hudson River Valley, 45 minutes northwest of New York City in beautiful upstate New York.

Owned and operated by the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) for over 40 years, Stony Point Center rests on 30 acres of nature, gardens and farmland. The Meditation Space, Labyrinth and Art Space help guests explore faith, creativity, community and leadership building.
The national offices of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), based in Louisville Kentucky, serve with mid-councils, congregations, worshipping communities, and partner organizations to carry forth the mission of Jesus Christ. Approximately 400 individuals, diverse in race, age, gender, sexual orientation, faith, skills, and more, come together as colleagues to work for a world where justice reigns, peace prevails, and God’s love extends to all people. This community comprises the staff of several national entities: the Office of the General Assembly, Presbyterian Investment and Loan Corporation, the Presbyterian Mission Agency, the Presbyterian Publishing Corporation, Presbyterian Women, and the Administrative Services Group.
Basic Commitment: This position calls for a commitment to the mission of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) as noted in its theological confessions, the Book of Order, and the actions of the General Assembly.
Position Purpose: Support the programmatic and communications need of a rapidly expanding series of online and in-person experiences.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support director of camp and retreat ministries in all levels of program/retreat/event development and implementation.
- Serve as the first contact for event registration.
- Support administration of events such as executing leader contracts, tracking registration and finances, creating reports by working with other SPC staff.
- Administer event materials including schedules, registration, staffing, marketing collateral, supplies and technology.
- Support communications through social media, website updates, email, and print in collaboration with the Associate Director for marketing and Communications.
- Participate as part of the on-call for guests’ after-hours rotation.
- Interact with guests and staff to present Stony Point Center in a positive and hospitable way.
- Help out other departments as needed.
- Administrative tasks as assigned by Directors and Associate Director.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Minimum of high school diploma (or equivalent), associate or bachelor’s degree preferred

- Able to understand, create and execute effective plans.
