Laurel Crest Retirement Community is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate CNA to join our team to create a warm hospitality experience for all our residents, staff and visitors. In this position, you will enjoy working with a passionate team to provide quality service throughout our community.
$1000 Sign On Bonus for Full-time Staff in increments and shift differential. Shift is 11p-7a.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform all duties as per SC Department of Public Health (DPH)
- Promote a cordial environment for residents, families, visitors and other co-workers; assist in maintaining a “home-like” environment
- Assist residents with ADLs
- Answer call lights
- Follow the residents care plan or service plan as an instruction guide for how to take care of that resident
- Report changes in residents' condition to the nurse in change and maintain communication with the families of residents
- Complete required documentation in accordance with community policies and state and/or federal regulations
- Maintain residents’ living area by ensuring that it is clean, neat and orderly, and in DPH compliance
- Comply with all safety and sanitary standards, rules and regulations
- Required to work weekends, holidays and per resident needs
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
What's Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certified Nursing Assistant
- CPR Certification
- 1-3 years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant
What's Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree. CPR Certified
- 3 years’ experience as a CNA
- Proficient computer skills
