Foothills Retirement Community is currently seeking a Director of Environmental Services to join our team. This is a hands-on supervisory role, responsible for leading, managing, and actively working alongside housekeeping/laundry specialists and floor technicians. The ideal candidate will provide strong leadership, direction, and support while ensuring high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the quality control of environmental services to ensure continual operations in compliance according to DHEC standards
- Provide leadership, direction and supervision to housekeeping/laundry specialist and floor techs
- Assisting the Executive Director in preparing department operating and capital budgets; monitoring expenditures; maintaining relations with private contractors and service agencies
- Coordinating community moves with Maintenance department, residents and/or their families
- Assisting residents with specific needs upon request.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma, preferred is an Associate or Bachelor Degree in related field
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience in healthcare setting,
- knowledge of DHEC regulations.
- Intermediate computer skills
- Valid South Carolina driver’s license
