The Village at Summerville has an exciting opportunity for a Licensed Healthcare Administrator. This 295 unit Life Plan/Continuing Care Retirement Community is located on 80 beautiful acres in Summerville, South Carolina, just 22 miles from historic downtown Charleston. Our community consists of 110 Independent Living Patio Homes & Apartments, 97 Assisted Living Apartments, and a state of the art 88-bed Health & Rehabilitation Center, offering both short-term and long-term care services in a Medicare Certified environment, with a strong in-house therapy presence.
This Administrator position is structured to support, empower, and engage a seasoned leadership team to advance the mission, ministry, and values of the organization, while upholding regulatory compliance and financial stewardship.
The role will directly influence the efforts of enhancing quality services and programming while highlighting and upholding resident satisfaction & employee retention. Our community is closely affiliated with both MUSC Hospital System and Palmetto Primary Care Physician’s Network.

Requirements
Ideal candidate should have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with four (4) years of managerial experience in nursing home operations, preferably as a licensed Administrator in the Medicare regulatory environment. NHA licensure required.
Other requirements include: A proven leader with examples of personally influencing others toward reaching mutual goals. A self-starter with demonstrated illustrations of solution-oriented leadership; along with excellent communication skills. Current, unencumbered South Carolina Nursing Home Administrator’s license, or meet the immediate licensure requirements of the State of South Carolina.
