Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a vital role in the development and education of young children. You will create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
Duties:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for children
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging activities
- Use effective behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior
- Assess and monitor the progress of each child
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to support the individual needs of each child
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and incidents
- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and well-maintained
- Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions to enhance teaching skills
Requirements:
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
-ECE units (minimum of 12)
- Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that promote learning across various domains (e.g., math, language, physical education)
- Experience working with students who require special education or early intervention services is a plus
- Excellent classroom management skills to create a positive learning environment
