Presbyterian Homes & Services is seeking a Business Development Specialist to join its Optage Home & Community-Based Services team.
REPORTING STRUCTURE
The Business Development Specialist reports to the Director of Business Development.
Responsibilities
The Optage Business Development Specialist is responsible for the management of key relationships with referral partners. This position will serve as the primary point of contact for executing tasks that support the growth of Optage, Rehabilitation, Genevive, and other vertical services. The role will focus on maintaining relationships, training, education, and implementing solutions based on customer feedback and driving efforts to achieve growth targets. Some specific areas of responsibility include but are not limited to :
Relationship Development :
- Identify and build partnerships with PHS campuses, key healthcare providers, referral sources, and other entities that directly or indirectly influence referrals to vertical services.
- Collaborate with referral sources, business entities, and departments to implement programs and initiatives to increase interest and understanding of vertical services.
- Implement strategies to establish strong relationships that drive growth in vertical services.
- Manage internal customer feedback and identify solutions to foster a positive customer relationship and experience.
- Ability to communicate with stakeholders in a manner that generates confidence in vertical services either by phone, email or in-person.
Provider Engagement :
Conduct regular outreach to providers promoting the benefits of Optage, Rehabilitation, Genevive, and vertical services.Deliver educational sessions, presentations, and materials to increase provider awareness and program participation including education and implementation of collateral and resources, social media posts (text, images, and video), conferences, and expos, giving presentations to referral sources and directly to clients, site tours and other activities that positively impact enrollment.Service and Support :
Serve as the primary contact for and PHS Communities, offering prompt responses to inquiries and proactive resolution of issues.Provide ongoing support to ensure PHS Communities and other referring providers have the tools and information needed to successfully refer participants.Identify and manage service recovery issues with referring agencies.Assist in creating and maintaining a culture of high touch, caring, and exceptional customer service that supports a satisfying experience. Optimize the flow of information to and from referring agencies and PHS Communities so an effective communication and problem-solving process is in place.Program Growth :
Responsible for growing enrollment in vertical services at assigned communities.Monitor referral trends and enrollment metrics to identify growth opportunities.Collaborate with internal teams to refine outreach strategies and improve the provider and PHS Communities’ experience.
Manage specific plans for external referral sources, including enrollment goals, key decision-makers to influence, and barriers to overcome.Execute an annual plan to achieve these goals, including visit schedules, new service starts, cancellations, and key influence / touch points.Compliance and Reporting :
Ensure all provider-related activities comply with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and confidentiality requirements.Maintain accurate records of provider and PHS Communities’ interactions and referral data.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Care Administration, or related field.Demonstrated knowledge and experience in customer service, account management, and community outreach.Strong understanding of Medicare coverage. Prefer experience within Hospice, Home Care, Rehabilitative Services and Primary Care Services within Senior Communities and the long-term care industry.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders. Ability to communicate with stakeholders in a manner that generates confidence in Optage, Rehabilitation, Genevive and vertical services.Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities and drive program success.Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to manage multiple relationships and tasks effectively.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills including the ability to handle multiple priorities accurately and timely to facilitate client and program needs.Frequent travel by automobile within the service area required.Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.Pay Range
The estimated starting pay range for this role is $28.88-36.09 per hour. This good faith estimate is based upon PHS’s typical starting pay range for this role. Actual pay range depends on many factors including each individual employee’s qualifications and market conditions and is subject to change.

Salary : $29 - $36
