About the Role
As an Occupational Therapist, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations using subjective and objective measures
- Develop treatment plans and programs in accordance with physician orders
- Provide quality treatments, actively progressing goals to achieve highest quality of life
- Conduct screens and provide education to residents/clients, families, caregivers, and staff
- Coordinate seamless discharges utilizing the full continuum of therapy and fitness services
- Provide accurate and timely documentation and billing in electronic medical record
- Demonstrate understanding and knowledge of payer sources and regulatory requirements
- Complete and document supervisory visits per regulations
- Communicate effectively with residents/clients, families, caregivers, physicians, referral sources, and interdisciplinary team
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Be a graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Hold current licensure in the state(s) of practice as required
- Demonstrate compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies
- Demonstrate ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers
