Job Description

Job Title : Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Specialty : Cardiopulmonary - Respiratory Therapy

Job Duration : 26 weeks

Shift : 12-hour night shifts

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of current experience in NICU and / or PICU

License : Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) licensure required

Certifications : BLS required; PALS, NRP, and ACLS preferred. All certifications must be completed through an authorized provider.

Must-Have :

Successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
Experience with electronic medical records, preferably EPIC.
Ability to work weekends and holidays.
Willingness to float within the facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles.

Job Description :

Provide cardiopulmonary diagnostic and respiratory therapeutic support for patients requiring diagnostic testing, respiratory treatment, and / or ventilatory support.

Adapt to a fast-paced environment and flexible work setting.

Support PresNow locations as needed and ensure department staffing needs are met.

Participate in an orientation session, including EPIC training during the first week of the contract.

Wear facility-approved scrubs (not provided).

Observe specific holiday coverage requirements, as no holiday time-off requests will be approved for travelers.

Maintain professionalism by not having been an employee of the health system for at least 12 months from the last day worked to be eligible for this travel position.
