Job Description

Job Title : Surgical Technologist

Job Specialty : Operating Room, Scrub Technologist

Job Duration : 18 weeks

Shift : 4 to 10-hour days

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Experience : Minimum of 2 years

License : Not specified

Certifications :

BLS certification required through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross
NBSTSA or equivalent preferred but not required

Must-Have :

Ortho, ENT and / or vascular experience is a plus

Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment

Successful completion of at least one 13-week travel assignment

Job Description :

Must adhere to a 75-mile straight-line radius rule; local travelers not accepted

Shift start times are at 0645 or 0900, with 4-10 hour shifts

On-call requirements include weekday shifts 4 times in 6 weeks and weekend call

Must be available for weekend shifts as needed in the rotation and holiday coverage

Travelers are first in line to float within the facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of the permanent assigned location

Orientation during the first week of the contract, includes EPIC training, and should not exceed 40 total hours

Scrubs are required but not provided by the facility

Must not have been an employee of the healthcare system for 12 months from the last day worked to be considered for the position

Ensure an accurate social security number and date of birth are entered to avoid onboarding issues

Additional Information :

No holiday time-off requests will be approved for travelers

State tax is applicable and should be reflected accordingly
