We need PCA/Med Techs who, in addition toperforming the routine functions of a Personal Care Assistant;understand the medication administration cycle, including administration and documentation of medication, observation, reporting of changes, recording visits to providers, and record and storage of medication. Our PCA/Med Techs are required to:
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Have a Pennsylvania Department of Human Services-approved medication administration certification in good standing; including Diabetic training and their most current observation page
- Complete Direct Care Training through an appropriate online provider
- Possess up to date CPR or Basic Life Support training
- Be able to effectively interact with residents, resident families, and team members
