The Wound Care Nurse maximizes the clinical outcomes for wound, ostomy, and continence patients by serving as a clinical resource and consultant to staff in developing and implementing nursing care plans.

What we are looking for:
We need a Wound Care Nurse who will help our residents by supporting their daily living needs and developing trusting, caring relationships. Our Wound Care Nurses are required to:
- Be a graduate of an accredited Practical Nurse program or Registered Nurse School of Nursing;
- Possess a valid LPN or RN license issued by the State of Pennsylvania;
- Maintain CPR Certification per policy;
- Effectively interact with residents, resident families, and team members;
- Act in a supervisory role for LPNs and CNAs as needed;
- Have working knowledge of Internet Software, Spreadsheet Software, and Word Processing Software; experience with Point Click Care MRS is preferred;
- Wound Care Certification is helpful. Experience in long term care is preferred.
