Job Summary
The Preschool Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the preschool, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in education administration and the ability to manage staff effectively. The Preschool Director will work closely with parents, staff, and the community to promote a positive learning atmosphere and implement educational programs that meet the developmental needs of children.

Duties
- Lead and manage all aspects of the preschool, including curriculum development, staff supervision, and operational management.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance educational programs and improve overall preschool performance.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements related to early childhood education.
- Oversee budgeting processes to ensure financial sustainability while maintaining high-quality educational standards.
- Foster a collaborative environment among staff through effective leadership, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.
- Engage with parents and the community to promote the preschool's mission and values while addressing any concerns or feedback.
- Monitor children's progress and development, implementing necessary changes to programs as needed to support their growth.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in education administration or leadership roles within early childhood settings.
- Strong skills in strategic planning and budgeting to effectively manage resources.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with staff, parents, and community members effectively.
- Ability to educate staff on best practices in early childhood education while fostering a positive team culture.
- Knowledge of current trends in early childhood education and child development principles.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.69 - $26.59 per hour
