Mission Systems Project Manager
The requirements listed define the Mission Systems Project Manager (MSPM) responsibilities and tasking. The MSPM is a highly qualified individual that understands engineering, projects, managing resources, and is able to conduct in-depth analysis of systems. The MSPM works with the engineering and operational teams to meet customer requirements, execute projects, and support mission system operations. The MSPM shall directly support the Chief Integration Officer (CIO) and work with team members to accomplish tasking related to design, integration, and deployment of fleet supported mission systems and ground infrastructure. The MSPM shall be a self starter that is able to deliver products to meet mission execution and customer requirements.
The MSPM shall be qualified to execute the below functions.
MSPM1: Develop and analyze architectures, designs, and functional requirements for ground, aircraft, and surface mission systems.
MSPM2: Create solutions and map detailed project planning documents that focus on cost, schedule, and performance metrics.
MSPM3: Develop and execute plans for detailed project specifications and requirements.
MSPM4: Develop custom prototype designs for rapid deployment.
MSPM5: Research technology and draft Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) and Alternative Analysis (AA) papers for life cycle of systems.
MSPM6: Draft system design concepts, ideas, plans, and reports for project and enterprise solutions.
MSPM7: Develop customer focused mission system maintenance, operational, and life cycle plans for acquisitions and long term sustainment of mission systems.
MSPM8: Work directly with customers and team members to ensure operational usability, functionality, and reliability of systems.
MSPM9: Execute travel to meet Government requirements.
MSPM10: Obtain and Maintain at least a Top Secret clearance.
MSPM11: Act upon guidance and direction from the CIO and Senior Leadership.
MSPM12: Conduct Government and internal reviews and take action on feedback from reviewers.
MSPM13: Build visions, develop business relationships, and draft goals for future endeavors.
