Responsibilities
- Assist with inventory management, ensuring structured categorization and accessibility. Monitor levels, implement storage solutions for space optimization, and evaluate accuracy through stock audits while maintaining thorough records for effective control
- Conduct regular/daily inventory counts and audits to maintain stock accuracy
- Collaborate closely with assembly and refurbishment teams to facilitate the timely availability of parts
- Process incoming products and components, including receiving, conducting quality checks, and updating inventory records
- Assist in the preparation of parts for shipping, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards
- Work with the quality assurance team to troubleshoot discrepancies and resolve inventory-related inquiries
- Implement best practices for inventory management and storage solutions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas, adhering to safety and hygiene protocols
- Provide assistance with shipping and receiving when required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-3 years of experience in inventory management or a related field, preferably in a medical device or manufacturing environment
- Previous use of microscopes and/or small parts assembly experience, a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Computer and data entry experience is essential (Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word)
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Basic understanding of medical devices and components is preferred
- Physical ability to lift, move boxes and/or merchandise and carry items up to 50 to 100 pounds., on a consistent basis (includes bending, twisting, kneeling, and balancing)
- Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability
- Willingness to learn new processes and technologies related to inventory management
