Responsibilities
- Identification of surgical microscope systems and parts
- Diagnosis of mechanical, electronic & optical issues with surgical microscopes, optical components and accessories
- Repair of surgical microscope components
- Refurbishment of surgical microscope components, including;
- Cleaning
- Repair
- Preparation for painting (Cleaning, masking)
- Painting
- De-prepping
- Preparation for quality control
- Assistance with the receiving of surgical microscopes, and components
- Cataloging, and organizing of inbound surgical microscope inventory.
- Assistance with the packing up of surgical microscopes, and components
- Preparation of Table Top / Wet Lab microscopes.
- Assistance with Trade Show preparation
- Working with the Service & Inventory departments in terms of inventory control of accessories
- General assistance with production area organization and cleanliness

- 0-1 years of work-related experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous mechanical experience is a plus
- Good communication
- Attention to detail and organizational skills are very important
- Good vision is a necessity
- Must be able to work Monday to Friday, forty hours per week. Or Flex Schedule available
- Candidate must have adequate transportation and be able to commute in winter weather conditions
- Candidate must be able to lift 50lbs
- Candidate must be able to pass a drug test and background check prior to being hired
