Position : High School Science Teacher with Hiring Bonus
Salary : $54,292 - $62,692 (Base pay 301 Payment).PUSD bases salary placement on years of prior experience and level of education. See below for breakdown :

301 Pay - $13,000 - Expected amount
3000 Hiring Bonus - ($1000 paid in first paycheck and the remaining $2000 paid at the start of year 3)
Benefits - All full-time PUSD employees receive the following benefits in addition to their salary :
- Medical Insurance valued at over $10,250 per year. PUSD has numerous health insurance plans available. The District covers 100% of the employees insurance premiums with most plans. Some plans include cost sharing with PUSD. There is also an option to purchase insurance for dependents, at PUSD group rates.
- Life Insurance ($50,0000) with option to purchase additional for self and family
- Pension Plan with the Arizona State Retirement System : District matches employee contributions (Approximately 12%)
- Generous PTO / Sick Leave plan
- Opportunities for additional pay as an after-school club leader, coaching athletics, tutoring, etc. (all optional)
