Prescott Valley Pet Clinic is seeking a Practice Manager to join our outstanding team! CVPM desired but not required. We are a small animal general practice owned by Dr Dana Frank and her husband, Rick Frank, and we believe “Our staff is our greatest asset”. We are growing back to a 5 doctor practice dedicated to providing personalized care to each of our clients and patients. Responsibilities:
The practice manager will partner with the owner of the practice and is responsible for many aspects of overseeing a small animal veterinary business. The 5 general responsibilities will include:
· Human Resources – Recruit, interview, hire, manage training and development programs. Establish work schedules and manage daily assignments. Conduct staff meetings and employee performance reviews. Mediate internal disputes. Discipline/discharge employees. Manage employee benefit programs. Maintain confidential employee records. Create, review, and update job descriptions and manuals.
· Law & Ethics – Ensure compliance OSHA, DEA, FDA. Understand the ethical requirements of veterinary practice as outlined by the AVMA and CVPM code of ethics. Understand and ensure compliance with Contract Law and Employment/Labor Law
· Marketing and Client Relations – Internal/External Marketing and Public Relations (brochures, placed advertisements, plan and coordinate promotional events, website content) – Client Service (monitor client retention, new client programs, handle client complaints) – Client Education (manage clinics and programs)
· Organization of the Practice – Update and maintain AAHA and AAFP standards ensure compliance. Oversee - Inventory, Equipment & Maintenance, Medical Record Standards and Compliance, Technology Systems and Policies, Liaison to Professional Services, Hospital policies/procedures/Risk Management.
· Financial Management – Manage Payroll, A/R and A/P. Prepare budgets and long-range fiscal plans. Analyze practice and financial reports. Maintain Chart of Accounts and Petty Cash Accounts. Oversee daily and monthly banking procedures. Establish and enforce client collections policies and procedures.

Shift availability:
· Current hours of operation – 8:00am to 5:30pm M-F
· Day Shift (required)
· Evening until 8:00pm or some weekends (could be required for future growth)
