Reports to: Production Supervisor or Plant Health Care Manager
Position Overview
The Plant Health Care Technician will be responsible for performing turf and plant health care services at customer properties in the St. Paul area, focusing on maintaining healthy, pest-free landscapes. This position includes the application of fertilizers and pesticides, diagnosing and correcting turf issues, and managing plant health as part of a preventative maintenance plan.

Specific Responsibilities
Production Management
Perform plant health care (PHC) and turf management services at customer properties.
Provide timely applications of fertilizers and weed control, diagnosing and correcting turf care problems.
Apply fertilizers and pesticides according to the schedule and label safety instructions, ensuring safe and effective use.
Quality
Demonstrate competent operation and maintenance of assigned equipment, following safety best practices.
Complete required records and documentation for the services provided.
Assist with other service line operations during downtime between applications and treatments.
Contribute to the organization, cleaning, and basic maintenance of all company facilities.
Job Requirements
✔️ Valid Driver's License: Ability to maintain a clean driving record.
✔️ Organizational & Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrate basic organizational and problem-solving abilities related to work tasks.
✔️ Physical Work: Ability to perform manual labor, including repeated bending, kneeling, squatting, and lifting up to 50 lbs independently and 80 lbs with assistance.
✔️ Pesticide Applicator License: Must have or be willing to obtain a Category A & E Pesticide Applicator License.
✔️ Communication Skills: Strong communication abilities to follow instructions and understand job requirements.
✔️ Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
✔️ Punctual & Reliable: Complete assigned tasks promptly and accurately.
✔️ Professional Appearance: Ability to maintain personal appearance and grooming as outlined in the Employee Handbook and Professionalism Guidelines.
Your Schedule
Average Work Week: 8-10 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with possible weekend work during peak season.
Season: Approximately April to October.
