What You’ll Do
Leadership & Team Development
- Inspire Your Team: Guide and mentor grounds care crew members to perform at their best.
- Drive Training: Implement and document training programs that equip your team with the skills and safety know-how needed for success.
- Set Clear Goals: Establish performance expectations and conduct regular evaluations to build a high-performing, motivated team.
Operational Excellence
- Manage Production: Oversee scheduling, job completion, and quality control, ensuring every project meets our high standards.
- Enhance Safety: Lead regular safety meetings, enforce safety policies, and take proactive steps to prevent accidents.
- Ensure Quality: Visit job sites regularly, ensuring that every task is executed efficiently, within budget, and with a focus on quality and integrity.
What We’re Looking For
- Credentials: A current driver’s license with a clean background check.
- Communication & Organization: Excellent communication, listening, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience & Education: A 2-year degree and/or Landscape Certification (MNLA or PLANET) and/or at least 2 years of landscape management experience.
- Technical Know-How: Advanced knowledge in turf care, landscape installation, plant and tree identification, and snow/ice management.
- Physical Ability: Capacity to perform manual labor, including bending, kneeling, squatting, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Professionalism: Timely, independent, and resourceful with a strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining a professional appearance.
