Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary tools and materials.
- Take and develop X-rays as required, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow within the clinic.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in dental assisting, preferably within a clinical setting.
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures.
- Proficiency in taking X-rays and understanding of radiographic safety measures.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and staff.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Certification in dental assisting or equivalent training is preferred but not mandatory.
