Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Manufacturing Engineer to join our team and help streamline and optimize the production process for electrical components and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, manufacturing processes, and problem-solving. As an Electrical Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the design, quality, and efficiency of electrical systems and components throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities :

Design and Process Optimization :

Collaborate with design and production teams to improve manufacturing processes for electrical systems and components. Optimize workflows to reduce costs, improve quality, and enhance overall production efficiency.

Manufacturing Support :

Provide technical support to production teams by troubleshooting electrical issues, evaluating designs, and implementing solutions to improve product functionality and manufacturability.

Quality Control and Compliance :

Monitor product quality to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Implement and oversee testing protocols for electrical products to ensure they meet performance specifications.

Root Cause Analysis :

Lead root cause analysis of production issues, including electrical failures, defects, or process inefficiencies. Develop and implement corrective actions to eliminate recurring issues and improve product quality.

Collaboration and Communication :

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, quality control, and procurement, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into the manufacturing process. Communicate technical information effectively to all team members.

Documentation and Reporting :

Create and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and process instructions. Prepare detailed reports on manufacturing performance and issues, recommending areas for improvement.

Tool and Equipment Management :

Identify, recommend, and implement appropriate tools, machinery, and technology to enhance electrical manufacturing processes. Ensure proper maintenance of electrical equipment to avoid downtime.

Qualifications : Education :

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

Experience :

3 years of experience in electrical manufacturing engineering or a related field, preferably in the [specific industry]. Experience with electrical testing, diagnostics, and troubleshooting is essential.

Technical Skills :

Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks Electrical) and manufacturing tools. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and wiring. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is highly desirable.

Problem-Solving Abilities :

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and find innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Communication Skills :

Strong verbal and written communication skills to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical team members.

Certifications :

Any relevant certifications like PMP, Six Sigma Green Belt, etc.]

Preferred Skills :

  • Knowledge of electrical components used in manufacturing such as PCBs, motors, sensors, etc.
  • Experience with automation and robotics in electrical manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
