Job Description:
Presidente Bar, a renowned restaurant that blends high-quality gastronomy with an exceptional hospitality experience, is looking for a General Manager with strategic vision and strong operational leadership. This role is essential to ensuring service excellence, business profitability, and the development of a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Oversee the restaurant’s daily operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with quality standards.
- Implement and enforce service, safety, and sanitation protocols.
- Maintain consistency in the guest experience across all services.
Financial Management & Profitability:
- Supervise food and beverage costs, optimizing margins without compromising quality.
- Monitor revenue, expenses, and overall profitability.
- Implement strategies to maximize sales, including promotions and loyalty programs.
Leadership & Team Development:
- Hire, train, and develop employees to maintain a motivated and efficient team.
- Foster a positive work environment with a culture of hospitality and excellence.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide continuous feedback.
Customer Service & Quality Control:
- Ensure an exceptional guest experience, resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
- Implement hospitality training programs to enhance service quality.
- Monitor reviews and feedback to identify areas for improvement.
Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Manage health inspections and guarantee the restaurant meets all local and state standards.
- Handle any security concerns within the establishment.
Vendor Relations & Inventory Management:
- Oversee purchasing and inventory management to minimize waste and control costs.
- Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best products at the best prices.
- Ensure continuous supply of essential ingredients and materials.
Marketing & Sales Strategy:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the restaurant and attract new customers.
- Develop events and experiences that strengthen Presidente Bar’s reputation.
- Maintain an active presence on social media and foster community engagement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in managing high-volume restaurants.
- Strong knowledge of financial management, cost control, and profitability strategies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities.
