Presidential Hospitality is looking for a reliable full time Maintenance to oversee all repair and upkeep operations of one or more of our properties. A great maintenance technician will have a solid understanding of plumbing and electrical systems as well as carpentry and other crafts. They will be well-versed in all maintenance processes and health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have aptitude in undertaking administrative tasks such as reporting, budgeting etc. The goal is to ensure the company facilities are well-cared for and adequate to support the company’s business operations.
Responsibilities
- Repairing and maintaining the interior and exterior of the hotel while following company and brand standards.
- Perform routine maintenance such as painting, carpet/floor cleaning, caulking, etc.
- Perform repairs to PTAC units, room furniture, fixtures and other items in maintenance and programming.
- Perform duties on the hotel's preventative maintenance program.
- Report major repair needs to the General Manager
- Assist in other areas of the hotel as needed.
- Assist in key lock maintenance (Onity, and Miwa)
- Help Maintain the pools and spas.
- Certified Pool Operator or ability to obtain certification.
- Help with luggage when needed
- And any other tasks assigned by your supervisor
- Qualifications
- 3 years of related general repair experience preferred
- Must be flexible in hours and days worked.
- Must have basic working knowledge of plumbing, painting, HVAC, electrical, and/or other general repair skills.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Must be able to walk, stand, climb, kneel, reach, crawl, push, pull and twist frequently through the day.
- Must display very good organization and time management skills.
