Job Summary
Presidential Square Apartments located in secane Delaware county is looking for a full-time experienced maintenance technician/ Plumber to join our team. We are searching for a candidate with experience in plumbing, who can multi-task efficiently. This role will utilize electrical and mechanical experience to troubleshoot and provide maintenance on a variety of apartments including but not limited to residential appliances, paint prepping, plumbing facilities, and carpentry as well as turning vacant units at move out.
Duties-
Perform general Building Maintenance
Replace bathroom vanities, toilets, diverters as well as kitchen sinks
Install new ceiling fans, lights & electric outlets
Ensure smooth operations and functionality by remaining consistent on building/property repair and upkeep.
Plumbing & Electric Work
Perform a variety of plumbing and electrical tasks on a day-to-day basis
Maintain records of materials utilized to ensure we have all necessary supplies
Customer Service- must know how to work well with others and presentable when entering residents homes.
Treat all property/building residents with professionalism and courtesy and quickly resolve any maintenance-related issues you may be presented with
Preventative Maintenance
To maintain property integrity, conduct routine inspections on work-site once assignment has been completed to ensure all systems are functioning properly
Must be able to lift at least 40-50 lbs.
- Experience
- Proven maintenance mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintenance roles.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience in replacing hot water heaters
- Experience with repairing appliances
- Ability to measure countertops & install
- Welding skills are a plus but not mandatory.
- Must have own tools
- MUST have a valid drivers license and reliable car/truck to be used during work hours *Monthly gas check is provided
- Oncall rotation between 4-6 other guys *You do receive compensation for this
