Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, ensuring smooth operations within the department. This position is essential for maintaining employee records, assisting with recruitment processes, and facilitating communication between drivers and office. The Human Resources Assistant will work closely with HR management to enhance the overall employee experience and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
Duties
- Escalate critical issues to HR Director and Operations Manager
- Ensure compliance with FMLA regulations.
- Collect and analyze data for HR reporting purposes.
- Strong knowledge of recruiting processes and interviewing skills
- Basic ADP knowledge
- Managing communications for the HR department.
- Maintaining employee records.
- Performing administrative duties, such as maintaining employee databases and sorting emails for the HR department.
- Maintaining proper records of employee attendance and leave of absence
- Coordinating orientation and training sessions for new employees.
- Serving as a point of contact, providing smooth communication with employees and timely resolution to their inquiries.
- Ensuring compliance with employment and labor laws
- Proficiency in human resources management practices
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
- Ability to work with all levels within the organization
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and be detail-oriented
- Assist in dispatch (training will be provided) some knowledge is helpful
- Answer calls from drivers, parents, etc
- Responsible for maintaining a positive relationship between drivers and office
- All other duties assigned by Presidential’s management.
Skills
- Strong understanding of HR sourcing techniques and best practices.
- Familiarity with FMLA regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent data collection and analytical skills for effective reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Knowledge in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
