- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow catering revenue.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Develop and present proposals and contracts for catering events.
- Collaborate with the culinary and operations teams to ensure flawless event execution.
- Conduct site visits and menu tastings with prospective clients.
- Monitor market trends to identify competitive opportunities.
- Handle negotiations and manage client expectations.
- Prepare sales reports and track progress toward revenue goals.
- Promote catering services through networking and marketing initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Education/Formal Training:
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred.
- 2 years in catering sales or hospitality sales.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Knowledge of event planning and catering operations.
- Proficiency in CRM and sales tracking software.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to travel and work nontraditional hours as needed.
