Key Responsibilities
- Lead all daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, preparation, and presentation.
- Manage all aspects of the restaurant, bar, and banquet service to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
- Develop menus in collaboration with ownership/management, balancing creativity with cost control and market trends.
- Oversee banquet execution, from planning to delivery, ensuring successful events and client satisfaction.
- Recruit, train, and supervise kitchen and F&B staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and professionalism.
- Maintain a strong presence during service periods to support staff and uphold service standards.
- Monitor inventory, ordering, and vendor relations to maintain proper stock levels and minimize waste.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Track financial performance, control labor and food costs.
- Proven experience in a similar Chef or F&B leadership role, preferably in a boutique or full-service hotel environment.
- Strong culinary background with proven kitchen leadership.
- Knowledge of banquet operations and restaurant service standards.
- Ability to manage multiple functions and shift gears as needed.
- ServSafe or equivalent food handler certification and TABC certification
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
