Description:
PURPOSE OF POSITION
Support 3rd shift production by maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work environment. The Custodian plays a critical role in sustaining the cleanliness and functionality of the facility, ensuring that all workspaces remain in optimal condition for team members and visitors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean breakrooms, office areas, and restrooms on a routine schedule.
- Dump trash, recyclables, and cardboard materials using carts or forklifts.
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, and a variety of surfaces across the facility.
- Replace lightbulbs and perform light general maintenance tasks.
- Follow all company housekeeping and safety procedures in accordance with workplace regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated good attendance and reliability.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Physically able to stand, walk, climb ladders, and reach throughout the duration of the shift.
- Comfortable operating forklifts and floor scrubbing machines (training may be provided).
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
