SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER

Full-Time | On-Site | M-F

Location: Solon, OH

We are looking for a dynamic Supplier Quality professional to lead and optimize activities and help establish a strong focus on supplier satisfaction and product quality. In this role, you will be responsible for Supplier Quality Management, KPI/Reporting, Supplier Evaluation, and Supplier Non-conformances.

Secure qualification of new suppliers and changes of suppliers, and Quality validation of new and/or existing items in case of changes

• Implement procedures regarding suppliers’ qualification
• Audit suppliers and monitor corresponding action plans
  
  
  

Generate detailed performance indicators for BL, Regional teams and communication to suppliers

• Follow the defined indicators for steering activity and detect any drift for each BL and Region
• Follow-up and evaluate suppliers’ performance including communication of results to suppliers
  
  
  

Manage the non-conformances identified on items supplied to ensure continuity and quality of production

• Manage the non-conforming products with suppliers to ensure continuity of production
• Manage the diagnosis of non-conformances and their entry into the dedicated system
• Prioritize issues that have the greatest impact on end customers
• Steer the implementation of improvements based on analysis of non-conformances
• Propose and manage the implementation of preventive actions
  
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 5 years' experience of Quality Management in technical / industrial environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Above-average computer skills (ERP, Microsoft Office, particularly Excel an PowerPoint)
• Ability to analyze and summarize
