What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen Logistics Driver position at Pressed Cafe?
Pressed Cafe is looking for a multi-talented delivery driver for our commissary kitchen!
Fresh food and paper goods deliveries are made to each of our cafes every day. We are looking for a professional driver to drive our vans and our large refrigerated box truck and be a valuable team member in our prep kitchen to get the truck ready as quickly as possible between deliveries.
- Must be willing to submit to a background check.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Must have a DOT medical clearance card OR be able to pass the exam to get one
- Must prove capable of safely maneuvering vehicles.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Checking and communicating for basic maintenance needs.
- Loading and unloading the product at the cafes- checking the product on, and off, for accurate delivery
- Safely transporting products from the commissary to our restaurants.
The following responsibilities may also be required:
- Assisting in the commissary kitchen with food prep.
- Any other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Manager.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous driving experience.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to read and understand English.
- Ability to learn kitchen skills.
Healthcare and Dental options available to full-time employees after 60 days.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
