What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intern - Development position at Pressley Ridge?
Position Summary
The Intern will be responsible for assisting with fundraising efforts to help us continue to expand the growth of the services that Pressley Ridge offers clients. Other responsibilities include maintaining communication and interacting with department leadership, staff, and other support departments across the organization.
General Roles and Responsibilities
- Maintains confidentiality and works in a professional manner with staff and department colleagues.
- Communicates and works with a multi-faceted team of professionals.
- Attends department and organization wide meetings.
- Collaborates with other support departments and staff across the organization.
Department Roles and Responsibilities
- Works with the Development and Marketing teams to identify areas of focus to obtain and complete educational requirements as outlined by the college/university of the Intern to support the learning process and develop critical thinking of social work systems and approaches.
- Participates in activities that will broaden the understanding and knowledge non-profit organizations.
- Data entry as it relates to fundraising
Qualifications
- Clearances. State, FBI, and Child Protection per state regulations; Mandated Reporter.
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
Working Conditions
- Physical Demands. This position requires a moderate level of physical activity. Sitting and standing for long periods of time. Employee must meet minimum requirements for Hearing, Speech, and Vision.
- Environmental: Office; community.
- Working Hours. As assigned or agreed upon by the department Director.
