Position Summary
The Mobile Crisis Professional works in a collaborative manner to address the immediate crisis of a youth and family known to the educational, child welfare, and juvenile justice systems. The Mobile Crisis Professional partners with the school district to provide short term services to stabilize the youth, assess for their individual needs, and connect them with identified supports, both formal and natural. In each case the Mobile Crisis Professional will assure that services to children and families are individualized, strengths and needs based, culturally sensitive and responsive, and goal driven. This position requires local travel and flexibility to work within the school day as well as a non-traditional schedule in a high-demand work situation.
Essential Responsibilities

Adjusts to the needs of audiences to ensure the message is understood. Delivers information effectively to internal and external stakeholders in written and verbal format.

- Identifies and collects data to determine the relationships, trends, and issues to make logical and factual decisions. Uses data available information and works to identify a solution for resolving the problem.

Qualifications
- State Police; FBI clearance; child abuse clearance; CPSL Mandated Reporter-Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse training; any additional background checks/clearances required by state governing bodies.
- Valid driver’s license and current vehicle insurance.
