The Assembly Operator will be responsible for all Hose Assembly related duties the right way to ensure our customers can rely on PCC as an awesome partner. The Assembly Operator is an individual contributor who works efficiently to complete daily goals, assemble parts, maintain quality, own the role, and create positive results.

Core Responsibilities
- Assembles components into complete or partial products according to standard work.
- Uses assembly tools, fixtures and safely loads and unload materials in equipment.
- Checks assembled parts visually and dimensionally according to quality standards.
- Recognizes non-conformance and informs team leader or department leader.
- Safely executes operator care tasks and maintains a clean and orderly work center.
- Makes suggestions for process changes that may improve processes.
- Completes all records, forms, and electronic data entry as required.
- Recognizes and complies with all applicable PCC procedures.
- Prepares and packages finished products for shipment.
- Adjusts tooling and fixtures within prescribed limits.
- Performs armor sleeving and hose crimp procedures
- Performs additional duties assigned.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift regularly between 25 - 35 pounds and occasionally between 35 - 50 pounds. Considerable standing, stooping, and bending are required.
Required Education and Experience
· High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience. Basic math skills. Basic knowledge of technical measuring devices such as calipers, angle indicators, tape measure, and various gauges
· Close attention to detail
· Must pass a background check and drug test
